Things are going really good here, FINALLY, it was the first day in my mission that it wasn't all sunny and not a cloud in the sky. It was really overcast and was actually a little cold, but right now its more sunny. This whole week should be more overcast.
Today we went over by the office and the temple but the store we were going to go to called the A.M.M was closed. Thats the store with all the garments and the scriptures. We both forgot it was closed on mondays, so that kinda sucked, but it was still worth it because theres another store by it called treasures of truth which is owned by the church. I had to buy anouther journal because I finished my first one last week and I had to get a thing for consecrated oil.
We went to the giant mall again to eat, and found other elders there from my district so we ate Burger king with them. It's kinda cool how on P-day you can travel around pretty much wherever in the whole mission. And we always run into at least 6 other missionaries shopping. The Rincon (Brown Recluse Spider) is everywhere here but dont worry mom, they wont bite me im still a teenager and still invincable. We found a baby one on our floor today while exercising. The big one must have laid babies. (They have found 3 in there apartment in the last two weeks)! The pensions are always sprayed.
Tell Brigham and Caleb to keep playing rugby and lifting weights, thats what I wish I would have done early, is always lifted. The language is coming, now its just pronunciation and certain words, I always have trouble pronouncing the words good.
We were pretty much marriage counselors in this one family this week, it was horrible. The kids are always running around way loud and this week the husband and wife started like arguing. We sang a hymn and watched a video called together forever, and everything was good until the little girl let out a blood hurling scream because the boy hit her. We had a lot of success this week visiting less active members. We're visiting this one girl and her mom, and they are way cool, but the mom doesnt want to read or pray much. Im getting along real good with all the young men in my ward they are pretty sweet. We had two investigators at the church and this less active member kid. Yesterday we taught this less active guy who just went off about the bible and the Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. It really is discouraging to just hear people talk bad like that, but at the same time were having success. The 20 year old kid didnt come to church but he is reading a lot out of the Book of Mormon.
Bueno I have to go, but here are some more pictures and stuff. I love you! Thanks for all that you do and everything you have done for me! chow, con mucho amor elder whitney
