Hello Family!
My week has been pretty good, it was a little crazy but still good. Next week or the week after Sandra and her son should get baptized, I’m thinking that they might need a little bit more work though cause we just found out that Sandra smokes a little and her baptism is in a week. We went to the temple with her and her son and daughter on Saturday and it was way good. It was so stressful though cause there were like 10 little kids! We had to take them all clear across town on two micros (buses) and the metro. I felt like I was babysitting all these little kids. Sandra really liked the temple though and she is working hard so that she can get baptized really soon. There were some other investigators and recent converts that went with us too, so it was really cool. We only had 5 investigators with us at church today but its all good cause the rest are still progressing and stuff.
The weather has actually been way nice, were starting to wear just long sleeve shirts without the jacket now. I’m thinking about buying one more suit coat for the last year or last winter of my mission. Actually all the suit coats are fine but its just the pants that look like crap now. They are like all shiny and have these stains on them that won’t come off. Plus a dog bit me so I have this way ugly patch work thing going on that a member did. How much did the suit coat and pants cost over there that I bought?
Are you really excited to go on your trip? When are you leaving? This September its like the bicentennial independence day so it should be pretty crazy. They have huge barbeques and everyone dances and stuff and they get drunk. Its going to be my first one but I heard its gonna be huge too. My ward is doing an activity so that should be pretty sweet
We have had that special capacitacion that just ended that was way good, but also Saturday 2 members of the 70 came and spoke to the missions east and north. . Elder Costa and Amado. It was seriously so good. Probably one of the best that I have ever been too. Elder Costa is hilarious. He speaks fluent Portuguese, English and Spanish. He told some of the most amazing stories that I have ever heard. Last night too we brought one of our investigators to another devotional for the young single adults. Elder Scott one of the apostles was supposed to speak but he wasn’t there so we heard from Costa again and it was awesome again.
That’s sweet that Brigham did really good again. How is Caleb doing in them? I can’t believe that about BYU, Any news about the packers? tell me who they drafted.. Tell me abut the Jazz too.. Well I love you guys and hope that you have an awesome trip. Espero que todo salga bie, un su viaje, y que se disfruten y relajen un poquito. Choa. Les Amo!!
